Insignia Brings the Jacob & Co. Billionaire Jewellery Card to Thailand, Capped at 150 Members

The Billionaire Jewellery Card Arrives in Thailand Through Insignia and Siam Piwat, What 150 Cardholders Worldwide Get, and Who Gets Invited

The Billionaire Jewellery Card is a diamond-set Visa credit card designed by Jacob & Co. with the lifestyle brand Billionaire and produced by Insignia, a provider of ultra-premium payment cards and lifestyle management. It is available by invitation only and capped at 150 members worldwide. Insignia launched officially in Thailand with Siam Piwat in October 2026, showing the card in the country for the first time.

Who Is Behind the Card

3 brands each handle one part of it:

  • Insignia
Makes the card and runs the membership. Founded in 1996 as a travel and payment card service, it has since grown into lifestyle management

  • Jacob & Co.
The New York jewellery and watch house, which designed the card and co-signs each one

  • Billionaire
The lifestyle brand founded by former Formula One team boss Flavio Briatore, owner of the clubs, restaurants and resort that cardholders can use

Where Was It Launched in Thailand, and What Is Siam Piwat's Role?

Insignia launched in Thailand with an event called A Taste of INSIGNIA at Blue by Alain Ducasse in ICONSIAM, and it was the first official showing of the Billionaire Jewellery Card in the country.

Siam Piwat owns Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery and co-owns ICONSIAM. Its part in the deal is to connect Insignia's global network with the high-net-worth shoppers its malls already serve.

How Many Diamonds, and How It Differs From the First Billionaire Card

There have been 2 Billionaire cards so far. The first was a gold-plated metal card; the Jewellery Card is the version set with diamonds:

Card Launched The card itself Network
Billionaire Card November 2023, at Billionaire in Dubai Gold-plated metal, openworked with a radiating pattern Visa Infinite
Billionaire Jewellery Card 23 January 2025, in St. Moritz More than 1,200 hand-set diamonds, 2.1 carats in total Visa Infinite, as printed on the card

How Many Versions of the Card Are There?

There are 3: The Diamond Card, with more than 1,200 diamonds, The Gold Card in precious metal, and The Standard Edition in openworked metal.

The card shown in Thailand is the diamond version, with rays spreading out from the Jacob & Co. logo at the lower centre and the Billionaire name across the middle.

What Cardholders Get

The benefits are built around access rather than points, in 6 main groups:

  • A 24/7 personal assistant
Handling everything from travel bookings to hard-to-find items

  • Sold-out events
Including Formula One, the Oscars and the Super Bowl, plus VIP entry to Watches & Wonders

  • 10% off at Jacob & Co.
On jewellery and watches bought in store

  • A free week away
At the Billionaire Resort & Retreat in Malindi, Kenya

  • A private club
Entry to the FB1 Private Members Club at the Mandarin Oriental, Dubai

  • First access
To Jacob & Co. real estate projects, private jets, yachts, Hermès bags and rare cars

What Does It Offer That Top Thai Credit Cards Do Not?

Most top-tier cards in Thailand compete on airport lounges, limousine transfers and hotel status, all of which can be bought outright.

What the Billionaire Jewellery Card sells is what money alone does not reach: seats at events that are already sold out, and a place at the front of the queue for bags and cars that normally come with a wait.

Can You Apply, and What Does It Take to Be Invited?

You cannot apply. Insignia issues the card by invitation only to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and caps membership at 150 people worldwide.

No price or annual fee has been published for the Billionaire card. Insignia's earlier jewellery cards, launched in the US in 2020, cost up to around USD 200,000 for the card alone.

Why Only 150 Members?

Because scarcity is the product. In 2020 Insignia had more than 800 clients in Europe and about 50 in the US, so a single card capped at 150 is rarer than the company's own client list.

The Luxe Addict Take: Credit Card or Jewellery?

Both at once. Insignia's jewellery cards work on the Visa network with a standard EMV chip, but they are priced and looked after like a piece of jewellery.

Most Insignia members insure their card against loss, the way they would a watch or an important piece of jewellery.

Is It Meant for Everyday Spending?

It can be, but people at this level usually keep a separate card for daily spending and bring out the diamond one when the card is part of what they are wearing.

Who Should Keep This Card on Their Radar?

The people who get the most from it already follow Formula One, awards season and the watch fairs, because most of the benefits sit around those events.
